Careful control of the preparation process for Genky Transparent iron oxide pigments results in the formation of pigments with very small primary particle sizes. The particles are acicular with needle lengths of up to 43nm and needle widths up to 9nm. Typical specific surface area is 15-150m2/g.
Genky series of Transparent iron oxide pigments exhibit high levels of transparency and color strength combined with excellent chemical stability, weather-resistance, acid-resistance, and alkaline-resistance. Genky Transparent iron oxide pigments are strong absorbers of ultraviolet radiation. As inorganic pigments, they are non-bleeding, non-migratory and insoluble allowing good effects to be achieved in both water and solvent based systems. Genky Transparent iron oxide pigments have good stability to temperature. The red can suffer up to 300℃, and yellow, green, black and brown up to be 160°C.
Genky series of Transparent iron oxide pigments and dispersions have passed the chemical laboratory determination by the international inspection agency SGS-CSTC that no related harmful substances are detected, which meet the latest environmental standards.
